No. Any device connected to the modem receives public IP addresses, so if you need protection, you’ll have to install a software firewall to your PCs or buy a hardware firewall and attach it directly to your modem.
The modem is not a router so there’s no configuration page available. The modem’s sole purpose is to issue IP addresses, so no other configuration is possible.
If through your own negligence your modem becomes damaged or lost, you’ll be charged $345.00 (VAT incl.) for a replacement.
Without the insurance option, a replacement modem will cost $521.74 (before VAT). Please note: lost modems are not covered by modem insurance; only damaged modems and stolen modems are covered. A police report will be required as proof that the modem was stolen.

These error messages could be showing up for different reasons, such as:
1. The PPV system is down.
2. There’s insufficient credit on your account for purchasing.
3. Entering an incorrect PIN.
4. The time or date for ordering the movie may have already passed.
The very first PPV purchase made on a new set top prompts customers to enter a PIN (in cases where parental controls had not been used before). Your PIN controls purchases thereafter. Once that code or PIN is entered correctly for a PPV purchase, the billing process is initiated and your bill will be automatically charged if the service isn’t cancelled before the scheduled start. We strongly recommend that you:
1. Protect your PIN
2. Make sure that the Settings menu for your set top box requires a PIN for all PPV purchases.
Times reflected on the monthly bills are the times Flow begins playing movies. This time could represent a block of programming or an all-day pass, so these times may vary from the items you actually purchase.
Yes. You can purchase an event up to 15 minutes after it starts.
With Flow PPV, you can order the following types of programming:
The prices vary based on the content you wish to purchase. You’ll always know how much you’re going to pay because you’ll see the price of each selection before you confirm your purchase.
You can see what’s showing at any time by browsing the Interactive Programme Guide (IPG). The IPG holds seven days of programming information starting from the current day.
Programs that are purchased are registered on our billing system on a fixed schedule, so it’s possible for a program purchased within one month to be reflected in the next month’s bill. You can use the purchase review on your set top box to check all purchased programs that have not been sent for billing yet.
When ordering PPV movies/events you will need to enter a PIN or PPV password. This isn’t meant to deter you from using the service but rather to give you more control of this service and to prevent unauthorised purchases on your account.
Coming into the office is not necessary. Flow has made it easier for you. You can use your remote control to purchase your events and movies. However, if you’re having problems ordering your movie, we would be more than happy to help you in person or over the phone.
Yes, you will be billed for the movie whether or not you look at it. Flow only sees that the purchase has been made, not that the content has been watched.
The charges for your orders will appear on your bill just as with your internet charges along with your regular video subscription.
Please note that these channel listings are subject to change.
When you go to your IPG, the price of the content is displayed right next to the purchase option.
No, unfortunately, you can’t because the IPG only holds seven days of information.
Purchasing a movie is the same as setting an event timer. If the set top is on, it will change to the purchase channel once the event starts.
The easiest way to prevent unauthorized purchases is by making sure that your PIN remains confidential. It’s also a great idea to change your PIN every other month.
At the moment, this service is only available to digital TV subscribers. If your area has not yet been converted to digital, then you won’t have access to PPV.
With VOD, you can purchase and watch content at any given time. You get a 12-hour window to watch the content whenever and as often as you like. With PPV, you purchase content to watch during a time period scheduled by Flow.

Once you’ve browsed the On Demand section and are ready to make a purchase, just highlight the selection and press the SELECT/OK button. You’ll see the name, description and rating of the title displayed on your screen. If everything is okay, press the SELECT/OK button. You’ll be prompted to enter your PIN to verify your purchase. You’ll then see a purchase screen prompting you to confirm or cancel your purchase.
Yes. Several days after you make your On Demand purchase, the title and price will appear on your bill and on Bill View.

Yes. You can cancel a title at any time but you will be charged once the title has been playing for more than 30 seconds.
If you’ve forgotten your PIN, you’ll need to call 223-FLOW and have an agent remove the old PIN. You’ll be asked to provide the identification number that was used during signup, e.g. your ID or drivers permit number.
For your protection, we recommend that you change your PIN every few months. To do so, just follow the steps below.
1. Press the MENU button on your remote control
2. Select Parental Control and enter your PIN when prompted
3. Select Change PIN and enter your old PIN when prompted
4. Enter your new PIN
5. You’ll see a message saying ‘New PIN Accepted.’ Press the C button to exit.
Yes. Having a PIN ensures that only authorized people are allowed to make purchases that will be billed to your Flow account. For your protection, we recommend that you keep your PIN confidential and change it every few months.
No. Movies can only be watched on the television on which they were purchased.
Access to the Flow On Demand service is free. However, there are charges for selected content which will be added to your bill. These charges range from $9.99 to $34.99 VAT inclusive.
Yes. If you’d like to remove a purchased title from your Purchased list, just follow the steps below.

No. You can use any ordinary telephone on your Flow line. Please note: Cordless phones operating at 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies may receive interference from wireless Wi-Fi networks that operate on the same frequencies, which may result in the call quality being adversely affected or even calls dropping. To avoid this, we suggest you choose a handset that operates in a different frequency band.

Yes, it does.
Without the insurance option, a replacement modem will cost $521.74 (before VAT). Please note: lost modems are not covered by modem insurance; only damaged modems and stolen modems are covered. A police report will be required as proof that the modem was stolen.
Take a moment to double-check that you typed in your username and/or password. Check your caps-lock key as well.
Here are a few things you can try. First, your modem may need to be reset. To reset, press the reset button on the back of the modem. If you still can’t browse, check to see whether your network card on your computer is connected and enabled by clicking on the network icon on your computer desktop. If your network card is disabled, you can repair your network connection by right-clicking on the icon and selecting the option to repair the network connection. If you have a router installed, you can reset the router and modem by unplugging the power cable on the router, then pressing the reset button on the modem, and finally by plugging back in the router to its power source. If you still can’t get online, call our Internet Helpdesk at 223-FLOW (3569) ext. 2002.
It sounds like the coaxial cable might not be properly screwed into the modem. Try screwing it in tightly. If you still can’t get online, call our Internet Helpdesk at 223-FLOW (3569) ext. 2002.
Most ISPs don’t allow you to send email through their mail server unless you are on their network. You can use Flow’s mail server to send email. Change the OUTGOING mail server of your other ISP account to mail.flowgrenada.com and remember to set the username and password of the OUTGOING mail server the same as that of your Flow Grenada email account. If you don’t have a Flow Grenada email account, you’ll need to create one, since our server requires that you log in before you can send mail.
Check your spam folder. Our mail servers perform spam filtering so any emails that get a high spam rating are automatically deleted.
On DC battery power, the modem gives you 15 minutes for internet service and the rest of the battery power is reserved for telephone service. This is still the case even if your modem doesn’t have telephone service installed. In some cases, the node providing internet service to the area loses power, and your service will beunavailable until power has returned to the node (even if you have battery power).
This happens when your computer isn’t receiving a valid IP address from the Flow modem. If you follow the steps below, the problem should get corrected.
1. Check the Ethernet cable connecting your computer to the modem.
2. Reset your modem.
3. If you’re using a router, reset the router.
4. Right-click on the network connection and repair the modem.
The Flow standard modem only gives out one public IP address to the first device detected by the modem (switches are not IP addressable devices). Any other devices you plug into the switch won’t receive a new IP address. If you want to connect more than one device at a time , you’ll need a dedicated router that uses DHCP (such as Linksys, D-Link, Cisco or others).
Sounds like there could be interference from other wireless devices, such as phones, remotes, or video games. Try changing the wireless channel on your router – most have up to 11.
Your Flow standard modem ‘remembers’ the first device (laptop, router, PC) connected to it and will only give you access to this device. It’s likely that the modem is remembering the previous device that was plugged into it and is refusing to issue an IP to another device. Try resetting the modem to clear its memory.
Some modems are equipped with a battery, so simply removing the modem from the AC power source has no affect on the reset. Try resetting your modem by pressing the reset button on the back of the modem.
